Sir, you have always been inspiring me! What a beautiful story!

I feel in the next five years what is going to differentiate us from others are the choices that we make today & to get something we never had, we need to do something that we never did!

I am gratefull to have you as a mentor!! ❤

Absolutely love this. Been through the same. Got into a tier3 college depressed, having failed to crack IITs. The only reason for getting in was that Microsoft comes to recruit there, just 2-3 students maybe.

There was no looking back since then. Currently in my final year and guess who made it to Microsoft ? ~ Yours truly !

Lesson learnt : Always believe in your dreams and be ready to push yourself to the edge.

I guess i'm the Aranav of this story, because i'm from dhanbad as well and will be joining Microsoft this august 🙊

Thanks for reading throught. Have an amazing day !

Thank you so much for this motivation!

I am a tier 3 college graduate 2021.

On campus placements are not that good and because of covid, it became worse.

But I got off campus opportunity with Tekion as Software Engineer, a company that go only tier 1 colleges like bits pilani, iiit alahabad.

Its a not a dream company, it surely a big achievement of my life!

And this post gives me even more motivation to work harder even more!

Thank you! :)

Hi Tanay,

I need your guidance on my situation as I too want to live my dreams and I am ready to put in the work.

I am a 2016 pass-out from a tier 3 engineering college in Mumbai. I was placed into Accenture in java batch which was a typical service-based experience and was also put into support projects. At this point I was unsure of what to do in life so was trying out many things half-heartedly because of which my knowledge in java or tech was average. Then after wasting 3 years I decided to switch after many rejections I managed to get into a small product-based startup based on my average java knowledge but they did not have a front end resource so I volunteered and was the only react.js resource there so I was working as a full-stack and was somehow making things work by googling. After a year in this startup, I felt that the environment was getting too toxic so deiced to switch again and got into John Deere which is a product-based MNC based on my react.js skills and java. At this point, my react.js exposure had surpassed my java exposure but I think I still lack knowledge in HTML, CSS and just have a plain black and white resume with no work to show of my own like a portfolio or personal projects. Also being into an agile project I am expected to learn AWS and work on Java and DB side as well which is not my area of interest now after learning React.js. I want to grow as a react.js developer and I want to learn Golang as well as I think Golang will be very beneficial in the future.

I want to know your thoughts on my situation and how do I approach my learning? what should I prioritize first? Please help my mail id is avishkardalvi@gmail.com or if you could provide your mail id I would explain my doubts in detail and I wish to get some guidance from you. Thanking you in advance :)
